Midtown Hairstyling is a full-service salon that has been serving the Fort Madison area since 1972. With a full line of professional products, we are here to help our clients feel beautiful! We are able to broaden the options of bringing out your natural beauty with the extensive knowledge of our stylists. We will find the best option for you and your day-to-day needs by conducting a detailed consultation. We are happy to accommodate scheduling needs and we accept walk-ins as much as we can! If you are needing to adjust your appointment or your appointments scheduled time call (319)-372-3004. Please note that any cancelations within 24 hours or No Shows will be subject to a reservation fee.

Our Story

Midtown Hairstyling is a full-service salon that has been in business since 1972. Current owner Sarah Lawson took over Midtown in 2021 from her mother Rhonda Pieper. Continuing her mother’s legacy in serving a small community.

At Midtown Hairstyling we build our clientele through open communication. Starting with a detailed consultation we strive to find what works best for you and your family’s needs. Whether you prefer wash and dry or full glam day to day, our stylists will find what works best for you.

Midtown Hairstyling offers a full menu of services that works best for your busy schedule. From all thing’s hair to Henna brows, lash lifting and tinting, lash extensions, and full body waxing including Brazilians our team of stylists are ready to help you find the right style for your look and lifestyle. We use high-quality products to ensure you get the best results possible.

We take the time to listen to what our clients want and make sure we provide them with exactly what they need. Our goal is to help you feel comfortable in your own skin by making sure you look your best. We want to make sure that no matter what stage of life you are in, whether it’s your first day on the job or your last day before retirement, we give you the confidence boost you need to take on the world.
